Default Question about a cam

Did a Vortec install on a friends car and he gave me a few things out of his garage. First was a set of MTI stage 1 heads. Used, but the port job is clean.

Second is a cam (brand new) he is claiming 234/228 .576/.571 113LSA which was one of the old SLP cams. Anyone have any info on this cam? Obviously it's a reverse split, I'm just not sure who ground these and what lobe profile they have. Couldn't find much on the web.

Planning on having the seats checked, and so on. I also have a burette so I can check the CC volume. They don't appear to be milled, that's another thing I need to check. All in all, the port job is clean, and for free there's not much to complain about.

Any way to check the valve angle?

I saw those threads, but I could have sworn I didn't see Comp in any of the reads I have done, but I did this time. Looks like it's time to give Comp a call just to make sure. Just want to make sure b/c if they are an aggressive lobe (ramp rate) I'll run dual springs, if not single Pac's should do just fine. Once again, you can't beat free.
