Zero? ... are you sure the gauge is OK? How are you conducting the compression test? Is the throttle body opening up? Is there a rag stuck in the intake?

Forget to install the timing chain? Seriously, I've seen blown headgaskets register something!

Pull a spark plug and put your finger over the hole, that will tell you if you have any comression at all and rule out your gauge working or not.

What ever happened with this? I'm getting zeros across the board as well. Gauge works, so that 's not it. Did a cam swap- bought cam, springs and push rods as a package from EPS- so I'd think they would be right. ? Going to pull a rocker arm off one and see if that makes a difference.
If all the pushrods were too long, would that cause what I am seeing?

Yes it could. If the pushrods are too long the valves won't close. Valves dont close and you get little to no compression.

That's kind of what I thought. Guess I need to get a pushrod checker and see exactly what I need. Seems like a simple thing to do.

If you had a running motor before hand it has to be something you changed that is causing the problem.
