Default Okay, I'm finally going to do it... Heads/Cam

Okay, my baby has had and kept stock motor but been a bolt on car since I bought it in 03 as a left over.... Since have been in the military my baby has stayed in the garage in 'storage' collecting dust. Drove it the other day and it felt slower... and I know my DD ain't faster.... So its getting heads/cam. I'm wanting to do this as a budget type build... under 5k... Anyone have anything against this oil pump/timing chain package?
http://www.slponline.com/view_product_site.asp?P=55002

For heads/cam looking at PRC 2.5 LS6 heads and Magic stick 3

Anyone have this combo? What are your #s?? Hoping to get 425rwhp/400rwtq
that's my goal...
Prob gonna keep my LS6 intake as I can't see belching out Almost a grand for the FAST intake manifold.
Thanks

I would get an ls2 timing chain and ls6 pump from Texas Speed.

Through a 6 speed you should easily clear your goal with that setup and a nice exhaust/tune.

Like I said, it's a bolt-on car, I'm running the SuperMaxx system and SLP loud mouth oh yeah and the high flow cat y not straight y-pipe! It already sounds like it has a cam in it lol
