Default Spun bearing...looking for new shortblock...Valvegod?

It looks like it's cheaper to buy a used shortblock from a previous owner than it is to tear-down my block to see what exactly went wrong - then fix it.

Do Shaun's shortblocks come bare? I would prefer to minimize swapping between blocks. Effectively, what needs to be done to his blocks to prepare them for installation?

I picked up my 6 Liter block from Shaun last week. If he is out of them, then he will be out for a while from what I gathered when talking with him.

I tried e-mailing them with the address on their site and it bounced. I'll try to call them tomorrow.

But back to my original post (and you may know this since you just got your block last week, Chino_man) what all comes with the blocks, or do you have order the pistons, rods, crank, etc separately?

JimMueller, I pmed you back.

The blocks come with matching main caps, main bolts, cam bearings, and all associated plugs for the block. He also has stock pistons, rods, and rings. I am not sure about whether he has cranks or not. You can always email Shaun at valvegod@aol.com
