Need Cam/Stall Advice
02 ws6 A4, mods are...bbk lt's, no cat's, e-cutout, magnaflow, slp lid, slp maf, k&n filter.
I was wanting to get some opinions on the right cam and stall. I've been looking at the TCI 3500, is this a decent converter?..the cam I'm not to sure about..just
want something that makes good low to mid range power but nothing to crazy...the car is not a dd but I still want it to be street friendly and still be able to keep up with the latest competition..lol ..thanks in advance

Yeah, I think I've made my mind up on a circle d 3200 and for the cam I was looking at the 228r or tr 230..would this be to much on stock heads and gears?
I don't spend any time at the track..just want something that will pull hard down low..from stoplight to stoplight I guess u could say...thanks

You aren't a manual. You don't need low end and the only midrange you need is from the converter speed and up. Basically you want your cam and stall to work together. For a DD, I would not hesitate to suggest a TR224 and a Yank SS3200. That would be very friendly and power is literally everywhere, you never wait for the power to kick in. I ran an almost identical combo in my car for a while.

Lope is exhaust dependent. Through a magnaflow, my 113 cam sounds damn near stock. Through a 4 inch cut-out, it sounds like a dragster. Its relative to the sound that you let come out of the engine. I ran a TR224 114 for a while, even got some clips:

I'm pretty sure they can cut it on a 112 also.
