lq9 build suggestions

I paid 1400 for an 02 LQ9 with 150,000 but It was also 20min from my house, so I got to check it out before I purchased it. I t was also a complete motor with intake, DBW tb and harness.

if you wanta just put the motor in stock i wouldnt touch anything but imo put a nice cam and heads package together then put it in youll be much happier rather then if you did it in the car no bueno

well i was thinking of doing a tsp 233-239 cam on a 112lsa and arp rod bolts,and comp tru union upgrade anything else i should think about. gunna switch my ls6 intake and oil pan from my ls1. probably gunna run a 150 shot for now til i can upgrade to a d1sc next year.

well if your planing on running a FI setup id think you would be better off with a lq4 since the compression is a tad lower just a thought. as far other upgrades id do a timing chain just for peace of mind
