I dalily drive my car. It went 10.5 with a bad 1.7 60 ft. That was first time out at the track they kicked me out for no cage
Thanks for all the replies. I actually priced out staying with the streetsweeper cam, it is the cheapest route as I dont need to get new heads, tune, pushrods or springs. I am still not convinced to stay with it though. It would be nice to try something different since I do have the whole car apart.\
I do see everyone is happy with the texas speed products, one of the reasons I chose to take a look at them.

Thanks for all the replies. I dont daily drive my car, have a beater for that. I would actually keep the streetsweeper but I pulled the lifters and cam. Its shot.
Looks like it a valve hit the piston also. I dont want to have to flycut. I am going to have the bottom end redone with new bearings, rings and a hone. I will be putting it together myself.

Something like a comp 222/224 .560 112 will be excellant street cam, with no surging, bucking, fuel consumption issues, valve train wear and tear that the big cams have, why go a big 230+ duration in a street driven car for?.
224/224 TR cam is another to set the benchmark. 220/220 580 112 or 114 with a set of prc heads will also work a treat

i have PRC stage 2.5 ls6's and an MS4 in my 383. it has -2cc flat tops.
made 480hp and 440tq. havent got it to hook out of the hole, but its running 123
at the traps. the extra cu in. calmed the cam down a lot, but i enjoyed it in the
stock short block as well.

I love my tsp setup!!
My first setup was a cam only MS4 car and loved it.
Now I have a Tsp blower cam and prc 2.5 ls6's. Might be upgrading to a bigger cam, fast and Prc 227s this spring. TSP for the WIN!!

Better H/C/I pkg vs stroker
02 camaro m6 w/3.73 gears. DD & road race. 109+mph in qtr with current ported 241's & mild cam from tsp with stock LS6 intake. 402/394 on mustang dyno. I'd like to gain another 75hp if possible with a head/cam/intake change instead of a stroker kit and still have some decent street manners.
Any experience with a streetable lunati cam and patriot heads, along with the 102 fast as far as numbers go? Other combos that can get me where I want to go without going into the engine with good tq numbers under the curve and good throttle response throughout the rpm band?
