What all is needed to be done to make a 346 block into a 347??
Thanks for any advise
Yea 3.905 bore gives you a 347. Not like you are going to feel a difference but most everyone that builds a "stock ci" engine builds a 347 because there is alot more piston variations available.

Because when using an LS1 block the only place to go from there is bore the hell out of it making the cylinder walls thin, add a stroker crank for a 383 which also adds to machine work plus a new crank, or you mid sleeve and the cost shoots way up. Alot can be done with a 347.
well practically peaking a 346 and 347 are exactly same other then miniscule amount of bore over or maybe piston dish/dome...other than that they arent any diffferent if you equip them with the same parts...you might get 2 extra hp lol
