Well as most people are doing their winter builds right now, I guess I am considered in that group. I'm sick of the oil consumption and am really tor between an LS6 PCV setup and a catch can setup. So if you have any idea to which is more effective other than both thrown together, then post up!

The ls6 system is a much improved system over the LS1,, however it is nowhere near as effective as a good catch can setup. You will be much better off swapping to a catch can, it works better, and can be bought for the same amount as a used LS6 valley. Not to mention it is alot faster and easier to install than swapping valleys.

Get the CC, going with the LS6 valley cover turned out to just be an appearance modification for me. I've got the RX CC and it works great, but I'd still think the Saikou Michi, LS1 Dual, CC is another very good option worth taking a look at, and it is made in the USA.

Unless you are burning oil like no tomorrow dont change it. Mine burned 1/4 of a quart in 3000 miles after I replumbed the entire PCV and put in a truck PCV valve, so Im just going to do the catch cans to keep that little bit of oil out.
