Out of those 2, I would choose the smaller one and you need at least 3.73 gear with it.

Easy, the 226/234. Maybe even a 230/234. Look into some gears like mentioned above. Some 3.73's or 3.90's will compliment it nicely. Myself, I love 4.10's in a M6

Go inbetween. 230 238. Makes great power and drives great. Sounds great as well.

I have a 230/238 as well. It drives even more tame than the 230/224 I had before which TR regards as 1 step up from the 224 you have now.

Why are you looking to change?

I went from a TR224 to a 230/238 as well. It was a great step for me; I'll be spraying this year, but I'm thinking that the nitrous will like that duration split.

As someone who has the EPS 234/246 I would recommend the smaller EPS 226/234 without a doubt!

I would not even bother with the 226/234. I made the same swap. There was very little power difference. (Probably less than 10HP, but it did give the idle some chop.

If I were to do it again, this is what I would choose. And, definitely get the gears.

Yup me too lol. The 226/230 is very streetable and if I could go back I would do a 230/234 in a heartbeat.

Like I said, I am an amateur tuner but so far my 230/238 drives better than the 230/224 that was in there with a professional tune.

I wouldn't go smaller ever again on a street/strip car. A good tuner could make it even more docile.
