Default I need Head help!!!

Alright so I have an LQ4 and I was originally going to do L92s but then I wasn't sure if that was my best bet so I've been looking into 243's and the 5.3 heads. but I don't know what the best head is for my build... FYI we have a Mega Death cam and flat top pistons. PLEASE HELP!!!

get the head that best match your combo.you should get the cam last, especially with a more radical build.

L92s would be your best bet with that cam and with your hp goals

The L92 heads flow like 300 cfm on the intake side but around 200 on the
exhaust side. This in unported form represents ONLY about a 66% E/I ratio.
Most cam companies in lue of this will suggest a cam with 12-16 degrees more
exhaust duration (example 232/246 @.050).
Also if your engine has flat top pistons it would be an LQ9...or are they
aftermarket pistons ????
Since you already have the cam I'd suggest either Texas Speed CNC'd 5.3
heads or a set from Advanced Inductions...with roughly eleven to one
compression and perhaps a Fast intake you should meet your power goal

They are aftermarket Flat tops. And what if we did ported and polished L92s? or even milled down a bit

Even porting them you still need a larger split. If your dead set on that cam, forget about the square port heads.

I believe you could minimize cost with mild work to the l92 heads
ive heard nothing but good from them
they build really good torque and horspower with
a carb. setup

Bang for Buck? L92 heads
