Unhappy HELP!! Ticking noise coming from my Z : (

What do you guys think it could be? My brother said it's my pushrod and it's gonna cost a lot to fix... Any input on this?

An engine "tick" is not very specific - it could be a lot things, some of which are expensive and some of which are not. Can you tell if it is coming from the upper or lower part of the motor? Can you tell which side of the motor?

I figured it out... It only happened this morning and that was the first time I heard it. I had a few guys that know cars and work on cars tell me it's because it was so cold this morning. It went away when I got off work around 5pm and I haven't heard it since this early morning around 7am when it was freezing. I just drove it about 30 mins ago and it's gone. I don't hear it anymore...
