Come on man whats the hold up? Maybe if you drove that garage queen more than 2 miles a year you could actually enjoy that thing and let us know how it is?

I was wondering why you dont plan on seeing dyno #s dont you get it tuned on a dyno?

Dyno #s or not, it will be cool to see some results at the track with your setup

There has been so much changed on my combo since the last time I dyno'd (complete engine/trans/rear/tuner) I don't feel like the numbers would be worth getting honestly. This car will be tuned on the street like it always has. I do however have tons of before time slips from the track directly before this head swap. I went about 3 weekends in a row right before it went up on jackstands, thread here:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/multimedi...pics-vids.html

The delay was for 2 reasons. 1 this was not the only thing this car got done, some were repair items, Strange 12 bolt, some front suspension stuff, and a re-worked exhaust to name a few and 2 I goofed on my pushrod measurement and had to order a new set that would work correctly. And, I took my time to measure PTV for myself and others who may be curious. Thanks to KCS who gave me the part number for the checker springs needed to check PTV.

I was just messing with ya man. I wish mine had low miles but I like to drive it.

Yea you have some goodies on that car and runs great!

If I had to do it all over again thats the combo I would go with. Damian said he he sees 450-460rwhp out of this setup with the LS6 intake.

Very nice.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe with a FAST intake sure, but not an ls6. More in the 425-435 range.

Looking forward to the results.

I just checked my old PM's. He said he gets 440-450 out of heads/cam car w/ LS6 intake.

Now that's how you tuck 4 inch exhaust with cutout Rear suspension can do full extension without contact as well. Helps I cut the floor pan up.....

^Gotta give it to you man not everyone would go as far to get tds in by cuting that floor like you did. It was a nice job I saw that thread.

Well when i ditched the TDs and went back to a Y-pipe the floor section that was cut really came in handy trying to tuck the 4 inch cut-out. It worked out well. I have been welding professionally for about 5 years, (not my current job) so I'm very comfortable with metal crap. Took the first drive tonight, my "eyeball" front end alignment worked pretty well, it's drive-able to the alignment shop. I was very easy on it though, no silly stuff, I don't want to fix it if it breaks.

Gonna update with first driving impressions. Been tuning myself so its a slow process. It didn't seem to want more fuel at lower rpms over the cam only tune AND low speed/rpm bucking has increased. For some reason while rolling in the mid 20s I would be in 3rd gear at about 1100 rpms.....that can't happen now. Car bucks all over the place, though that doesn't surprise me going from a 205cc runner to a 226cc runner. I upped my shift points for it to hold the lower gears a little longer and it cleared right up, I always thought they were a little too low anyway. Midrange.......WOW, big improvement, car moves really well, the throttle response is excellent once the converter couples around 4k. It feels very stout. I haven't fully explored the upper rpms (due to needing an alignment and working some other bugs out) but the runs I have made have been good. It feels like the gears have gotten shorter bc the car is accelerating quicker.

HAHA, I'm such a slow poke, I've done some bumper supports, a chris1313 ram air, and this beauty: So needless to say a retune is in order. I've currently got some other projects going on so it's delaying the car. And I wonder why I put less then 1k miles a year on my car.

Yep. I definitely see some attention to detail going on in the engine bay.
Did you polish or paint the fuel rail? I've really got to get on the stick and get my engine bay cleaned up.

I bought my used 92/92 combo about 2 weeks before the new ones came out.... It looks the same though

When the tune is all finished, are you going to shift higher than 6500 or continue to shift there?
