help me pick a cam!
help me pick a cam! im looking to cam my 01 formula that i daily drive.
i plan on doing cam/springs/converter. dont want to get too radical with the converter due to it being my daily.
i dotn want to pull the heads. so something that requires fly cutting is a no go.
id love something that sounds like it barely runs! lol

My advice is get with Pat G. He does custom cams and is great at it. I ran two of his customs after cams from top sponsors and his gained over thers. To gain the most and get what you want,thats what i would do. Good luck to ya.
I had a 236, 240 610, 612 111, made 405 rwhp. I never did gears so slow speeds it did not drive that well.
I now have a 230, 238 600, 600 113. It drives near stock and most likely will make more power, I also have cnc ported heads.
I originally was going to go with a Pat G cam, he reccommneded the same exact specs that AI sent me.

NICE! Still haven't put mine on the dyno (scraping the cash together) but that time is rapidly approaching.
My cam is plenty driveable with a 110; idles rough enough at 800 that you know it is there, but not so bad that it shakes the car apart.
Keep in mind that if you keep the lift at .600 or less you can run a beehive spring, which is considerably cheaper than doubles
