Get it out to the track and see what it traps. Dyno are just tuning tools.

Wow those are some impressive numbers for your list. Does that dyno read high? Regardless, awesome!

The thought crossed my mind but I really don't think so. My car only made 339/354 on that same dyno with a full exhaust/LS6 intake, etc. etc. about 3-4 months ago.

470 is high... h/c ls2/3 make that.... anyway a dyno just tunes..... I remember "RobZ" made hp from his H/c ls1 and reached 450 and he ran a 9.98...

I would know since i bought his same H/C combo that broke the record + cam with lifters, springs, pushrods.etc... i bougth his whole top end for north of 3g.s

Its all in the setup, hp means little... to a properly setup car..

Just for good measure, as well as somewhat verifying how well that dyno reads, here is my before graph:

That was 3-4 months ago when I was full bolt ons. Car made 339/354 so it clearly doesn't read high, haha.

Very good numbers using those heads/cam. You have any plans to take it to the track and see what it does?

Yeah later on this season. The stock 10 bolt with 3.42's probably won't give me any good times but I will see what it can do!

11:1-ish. TSP said they deck the heads more for smaller cams like mine. Not sure how much more, but the car would only handle 25* timing at WOT. At 26+ it would knock. Similar setups to mine take 28-30 okay so I am assuming my compression is pretty high.

Suspension and rear will probably be next spring. I want to run low 11's before I even think about N2O.

Nice build! Car sounds great. I just got done with mine last week, hoping to dyno this week. Similar setup but with ported dart's and forged pistons/rods. Prob wont dyno that high because im auto but hoping for some low low 11's on motor before i spray as well.
