Ls6 cam vs hot cam ?
Ls6 cam vs hot cam ? Wich will make more power and give me better 1/4 mile gains? That is really all I'm looking to find out. No other cam recomendations. I will be going with one of these cams. Wich one makes better power and will give me better 1/4 mile gains?

Ill be runing on a mailorder tune is why i dont like that one so much. Im really curious how much more power i could make with the hot cam over the ls6.

Texas Speed-220r 220/220 .581/.581 sleeper camthis cam has -8* of overlap vs. the hotcams -1.5* so it's alot more likely to run on a mail order tune. You could probably step you to the 224R on a 114lsa and still get buy with a mail order tune but when it really comes down to it you really should get a dyno tune with any cam install.

I had a hotcam once in my old car. It was a great little cam. It will give you good driveability with a nice performance gain, and give you a great lopey sound. It sounds much bigger than it is. For what you are looking for just depends on if you want to be stealthy (LS6 cam) or make a little more sound (hotcam). I don't feel you can go wrong with either cam for what you want out them.
