Got my new heads!

Just got my PRC Stg 2.5 5.3 58cc heads for my stock bottom end ls1 build. Im pretty excited to see how these will do when mated up with a custom Eps camshaft.

My old setup with a 233/239 cam and 70cc 317's put down 411/370.

I'm very impressed with the difference in runner sizes when I compare my old heads to the new ones. Everything is smooth and the exhaust ports are a lot larger. I think i may spend some time and gasket match the intake manifold since I'm going this far with the motor.

He didnt spec it up yet. I just got the chance to email him. Ill be sure to let everyone know what kind of cam he is making up for me. I asked for a stealth cam

same kind of thing im putting together. Ported 243's and a stealth cam. Should be fun

I was spec'd up a 226/234 113+2 .598/.602. Geoff said it would be a little lopey but the cam will run alot better with the added few degrees so I told him to go for it.
Was also told that this cam with fast, heads, and exhaust a M6 vette put down 470.
So we will see. I am running through a moser 9" and Im not using a fast intake just a ls6.

That Ls6 intake will probably be a limiting factor but you should have a nice torque curve still and you can see the gain for a fast when you get the chance to add it
