Creating a monster
For a good streetable cam that will hit your goal look at my Stage 2 "Street Heat' camshaft for 346-364 c.i. engines. It is 231/238 .61x"/.61x" 113+3 and produces killer mid-range torque without sacrificing any low end over the stock cam and makes power to 6400-6500 rpm with a LS6 intake. With the LS1 intake it will most likely peak at 6100-6200rpm and lose about 10-20rwhp over the LS6. May as well port either intake you use while you're at it.
I would never use stock push rods with an aftermarket cam. You're just asking for trouble there.
I have a cam package that includes much better Brian Tooley Racing dual springs rated for .660" lift that have never had a reported failure since they were put into use in 2005(unprecedented over the competition) and Manley .080" wall 5/16" push rods for 679.99. You can add a LS2 timing chain to that for 44.99 also.
