Default F13 vs. El Torro

Futral Motorsports F13 - 230/232 .595"/.585" 112 LSA
PREDATOR-Z "El Torro" - 230/230 .612"/.592" 111+2 LSA

Based on what I am wanting, I have narrowed it down to these two cams. I've seen both of these cams compared to a multitude of different cams, but never to each other. Which one would you go with and why?

When this cam goes in, I will have a FAST 102/102, Delphi 85mm MAF, FTP 98mm lid, TSP 1-7/8" LT's and TSP true duals. I'll be running stock gears for the meantime, but plan on getting 4.10's before long. Stock heads will be used (I know, severely limits the setup).

Loved my 230/230 111+2 cam (EPS/LXL lobes) it was a pain in traffic sometimes. But made really good power. Trapping 124.8 in 3,400' DA. If I did it over again I would go 230/234 113+2-3.

I keep thinking Predators El Torro is a 230/228.. Predator Z and all his crazy spec cams..lol..

I doubt one will make that much more power than the other.

My F14 cam made 450 with home ported 5.3's and a BBK intake. I'm a huge fan of Futral cams.

Who grinds the El Toro-Comp?

Comp sucks. Futral doesn't use Comp. Seen some wicked fast mild and heads cam cars though with the El Toro.

What are you using the car for and what are your goals?

Why would you choose that cam over the el torro?

Yes, it is a comp grind.

It is not my daily driver, it's my weekend warrior that will see track days, but mostly driven on the street. I want to have a good torque curve with around 400+ HP without needing to rev to 7,000 RPM or going too crazy with the amount of lift.

Here's my dyno the higher numbers being the addition of the above said cam and livernois stage 3 243's 59cc chambers. Lets just say PTV was tight...

With the addition of my FAST 92 i gained less than 10rw hp/tq at the very end of my powerband, and even lost some down low. I think due to the fact the cam is a square pattern. I just think a 220-225cc runner, 59cc chamber head and the 230/234 113+2-3 is a killer. And would drive just fine.

ALSO! My above dyno dyno was with 20* total, I think 21.5* pinged everytime on the street. Cali 91 pump....

Yes because all cars with a Comp cam are slow and will eventually blow-up

OP- do a search, there's been a lot of success with the Toro and F13 cams..honestly, can't go wrong with either. The Toro will have a little rougher idle IMO, but both would produce similar #'s
