9.8:1 -10.0:1 dynamic compression too much for pump?
Changing cam out and it's going to drop my dynamic compression to borderline pump didn't know if anyone could tell me to try pump or stick with race fuel. My static comp is 13.7:1 and dynamic is 9.8:1-10.1:1 according to cam designer and 2 other calculators. Any info/input would be much appreciated. Also I will be spraying a 175 hit

It's .051 compressed and cam Lsa is 114+3 on a 111 centerline here are custom cam specs 235/246 .638/.615" 114LSA +3 camshaft recommendation. This profile features the all-new EHI lobes for the intake and LXL lobes for the exhaust. The EHI lobes have an endurance profile which means they open & close in a more controlled manner on/off the seat. They have really fast ramps once under way which means they'll make more power than the LSL/LSR lobes from Comp while having better control at higher rpm. The LXL lobes for the exhaust have a nice soft close which will make considerably less sewing machine valvetrain noise than other higher lift lobes on the market.
I run 8 heat range plugs

How about Methanol injection (Snowperformance stg 3) to get the octane level up.
Here's a link to a thread about it.

Or a new cam. Part of having the correct cam isn't just valve events, it's about working in the motor you already have. If you already have heads and the engine setup a certain way, the custom cam should take that into account and the fuel you'll be running.
And DCR calculators are a bit hazy. Lots of folks run higher than 9:1 with smaller cams and milled ported heads, so don't invest too much stock in them, just use them as a general guide, not the absolute gospel.

I understand that, even with 70cc heads my compression static s 12.3:1. problem is I'd rather run race gas or meth right now vs. spending another 600 on stock ls3 heads and still be low to mid 9s on dynamic compression. My cam right now has me at 11.75:1 on dynamic completely wrong cam i know i just kinda through it in since it was cheap and I was itching. If I could find someone with stock cc ls3 heads that wanted 62cc heads and kinda swap that would be nice but no one really wants mills ls3 heads milled .040. Lol oh well no biggie fellas I like the power car makes with the compression and should pick up even more with new cam not to mention if I port heads and a better intake thanks guys

11cc dome 370 CID cam now is a eps 244/248 612/615 112+2 Lsa lsl/lsr lobes cam I will be ordering 235/246 638/615 114+3 Lsa ehi lobes. car currently makes 500 on a mustang dyno stock ls3 heads and intake conservative timing do to when we dynoed it was 110* out with 15% humidity so didn't wanna throw a lot in and regret it with cold weather . I will be spraying a 175 hp forgot to mention that sorry
