I am interested to see how they perform when ported. IMO they may perform about like an average set of stage 2 LS1 heads out of the box, but when ported they will really shine cause of the added material they will have over a stock casting...

If they don't run the # velocity and chamber size don't mean much to us.
If the 225's don't outflow a nice stage 2 LS6 I'm not sure what the point is.
Honestly, I'm not sure why they did the 205's first. Big numbers sell stuff like this.

I think that their market is really going to be the guys who buy the heads, and them port them. The stock casting heads are reaching a top limit really. If the AFR heads flow similar out of the box to stock port jobs, then can be ported to add more cfm on top of that, then they will have a niche in the market for that reason.

As long as they have a thicker deck and we can choose the chamber size, I don't really care what they flow.
As far as velocity goes, I'm as concerned about it as I am the flow rates.

For me it sure didnt help when they posted that weak dyno of the stock head vs. their heads. To bad it wasnt a straight swap, they had to add a cam, intake, and TB. WTF is that garbage???
