About to purchase H/C/I... Any thoughts before decision is made

Lol.. I've already called to move it up, they're booked. I'm doing a few odd an end things now. Still need to dedicate a day to the fuel pump install. I'm currently in the middle of hacking up this tru-fiber hood to clear my ws6 air box housing. (Tedious as hell) Would love to get my catch can prior to the tune but doesn't look like it, unless it ships on Monday. I ordered it on the 16th of Jan, still processing my order
Haha, I hope we both can get what we've been looking for. I've seen some killer setups with those heads, and with Martin on your side with the cam... You're good!
I'll be keeping an eye out for your results

Alright guys:
The Fuel pump is in and the Hotwire Kit has been routed and powered.
I'm in need of a Catch Can setup like no tomorrow. (CoSpeed is having issues with the RX catch cans for some reason, they called me and I had to cancel) My next choice I guess would be the Norris Motorsports catch can (Suggestions?) Would love to have one before the Dyno on Monday. I seem to be pulling oil (maybe my PCV is stuck open? Thoughts?) because I've notice oil making its way around a few connections on my Y-pipe. The oil is thick with carbon (should be, its coming into the exhaust, which means its making its way completely through the engine) and would just like to get it taken care of. I didn't want any of it going through the intake, but I guess I can kiss that goodbye. I am still leak free as of now, and suspect I will be for D-Day. It's just that damn oil making its way into the engine through the intake side is bugging me.
Here is the idle video after the Racetronix install. Just wanted to get a decent shot of the Bird in some light. Enjoy, and don't forget to give me some input on that catch can ordeal.

Nice man NICE!!! I will be doing the Ractronix fuel pump/hot wire kit also as I had to buy some new injectors today for my build so might as well do the rest of the fuel system.
jacked on your vids...I cant wait for mine to be done.

Sounds great. That's high on my list of reasons why I love that cam so much.
Green Vortec, your car always impressed me with the time is able to run with your gear, weight, low compression and from what you have said lightly ported heads. I still think with a little work to the 60 foot and 330 you can IIRC.ow 11's and damn near 7.0 in the eighth. You already went 7.40's at 94mph iirc.

I guess I'll place an order for the Norris Catch Can. (WS6 Store has it, Lil Jay is this where you got yours?) I wish I could overnight one... Guess I'll wait like the rest of'em..

cc
Damn that sucks about the can but good to know considering I have not bought mine yet, looks like the ws6store is the way to go for this route. Thanks for the post Liljayv10. Hopefully you get it before the dyno cause oil in the exhaust is no good! hurry up Monday!

The only issue I've ever heard of with the RX CC was with the metered PCV valve and this was in below freezing weather, If you go with the fix orifice PCV valve this won't be an issue. Other then that I've heard of no other issues.
BTW, you can buy the RX catch can directly from revxtreme.com with either type of pcv valve.

(Your/Their Can is nice, I wanted one, but I do not believe in paying that price to wait a month. You know what I mean)

Yeah Co.Speed doesn't even list the RX CC's on their website now.
Any way, it's good to hear you have a CC on the way, just make sure wherever you mount it that you can easily drain it, that's why I mounted my Rx CC where I did.

Martin- I seen the VR-1 oil your fond of. What weight do you use in an LS1? (All I seen was 20-40w) I put Mobil 1 with the STP additive (ZDDP) for the Dyno. Didn't know what weight to choose.Let me know man.
