Default Gear Sprockets for use with Katech C5-R Chain?

I know Cloyes has a billet timing set with the C5-R Chain from IWIS, but it's like 250 or 280 depending on the Cloyes timing set option. The chain itself is 149 from Katech.

My stock timing gears have 144k miles on them and would like to get some new billet ones, but was wondering what other options there were besides buying the Cloyes set or running new GM timing set gears.

I'd like to stay single roller and the C5-R is the nicest one available (well now that the IRL chain is no longer made).

Thanks

I like the Rollmaster billet sets. I've even thought about their double roller setup, but I don't really feel like messing with the front cover and grinding away at an oil pump or using anything by SLP.

But as type that I've come across Synergy Motorsports Ported LS6 which has been clearanced for a double roller. Hmm.

Just get the billet gears from Yank. They're awesome. They threw a torrington bearing in as well for me.

Yep. They have a real quality kit out right now. You can get the billet gears seperately.
