hahah I wouldnt run the 918 at all with that lift, 918 is a single spring
sell those 918 and buy atleast a 978

With a serious cam like you're talking about, you'd be totally INSANE to NOT run a set of dual springs, Crane, Patriot, duals of some sort! With the money your spending, good duals like the Cranes or Patriots or cheap insurance against any trouble or failure in the valve train.

There is a shop locally that is using 918s on upto a .620 lift cam. According to them, as long as they are installed at the perfect height, they are fine.
So far I havent heard of any issues with them.

I would look into the Crane's or the Patriot springs. I personally prefer the Patriots because they offer more seat & open pressure
