Default Thinking of these for my heads and cam

I am really considering AI 219 CNC 241 casting head and cam package. The pricing is really good. I was thinking ls6 heads forever or tsp prc 2.5 5.3. Now I am almost dead set at the ai package and the 241s are really overlooked. when I get my tax money this week. Anyone running there heads and cam. I figured since it is there heads they would be the best to spec the cam. I think they have some of the best heads out there.

They are good heads, although the ls6 heads are still better. Either way I think you will be happy, and id have no gripes against AI specing the cam, they have plenty of knowledge.

I have the PRC 5.3 stage 2.5 with a Torquer 2 cam and LS6 intake. She put down 425 on the dyno. Don't forget to consider that's through a stalled automatic and on a conservative dyno. The car so far has gone 11.22 at 121 mph and has plenty left in it. With a 4,400 stall, good air and skinnies on the front I wouldn't be surprised to see her go 10.70's or better. It has great street manners too except that it can blow the tires off anywhere under 70 mph.

I have one, do they run a core program so you're not without a car for a few weeks or do you have to buy a spare set to send in?

Nice numbers guys. I bought a set of the 243 cnc 226 AI heads that a guy had never used. I was going to do the 219 cnc program but these poped up. I wil be getting them in a few days. What did you have your heads milled to the 241s. The ones im getting are 63cc. I think the 243s and 241s/853s they offer are very similar in power output. I just need to figure what pushrods and what cam to run. As they are milled so I will need probaly like a slightly smaller pushrod. 432 rwhp bro is awesome. I would be very happy with my ls6 intake to squeeze about that out or a little more if im lucky

Formulaon18s: You can buy a new set from them and have them work them.

dhctss: I would have AI pick the cam to go with the heads. If I had better headers, ARH or Kooks, a fast, I bet I would be 450 rwhp.

They will sell you cores for 200. They do not run a exchange program. good deal. Then you could sell your stock ones when you take them off.

I was gonna pick up but since there only comig from pa I decided to pay for shipping. I am very happy. I barely pulled it off. I just had enough doe after money gram fee. I made a deposit on tuesday and was so worried because was waiting for income tax. Another member just sold the same heads but werent milled which mine are.

+1. My setup is almost identical to this guys and my car put down 470whp thru a T56. Car traps a hair under 122 with an LS6 intake. Shooting for 125 traps this year with a FAST. The 5.3 heads are WAY under rated IMO.

We currently have some pretty good prices on the PRC LS6 heads & the PRC stage 2.5 5.3l heads. You might also checkout the PRC 225 as cast, you get all the advantages of a aftermarket casting at a price comparable to ported stock castings!!

I am very happy with the choice I made. I paid a very reasonable price as the heads are brand new. They were 2002 z06 heads with the sodium valves. Not sure if those valves are any better than the normal ones but I heard people claim they were. TSP do you guys have a cnc program on 241s and what kind of numbers do they produce if you do. I was thinking of that route. To op who dynoed at 470 rwhp. Those numbers seem pretty high.
