If I can get away with the Katechs I'll do them and set the rev limiter for 7400...

Btw, have it on the engine stand all the way. Had to go get some M10x1.5 70mm Class 10.9 bolts this morning.

My wife needed the engine crane OUT OF THE WAY so she could use her garage... haha.

Looks like you said the hell with the OPSU,

I'm doing Katechs. There's been too many success stories with them. And yes I saw that thread about them. Looking good so far Jake. Tentative completion date...?

I ran Katechs in my cam only motor to 7400rpm on motor and on a 250 shot. That motor is still going strong for someone else today. 239/247 110+0 cam. She liked a little bit of RPM needless to say...

Katechs it is. The cam shouldn't spin that high, but with the short travel lifters I'm hoping it can hang on past 7 grand.

Just stumbled upon this. 200 pounds?? Err, no. Try about 35 pounds, give or take.

It's also has more ideal gearing vs a 60e for the drag strip for cars around the low 10s and up.

By the way, this thread has officially made me terrified of ever getting married one day. I just don't know how I can handle it. Surely these women knew about your car hobby BEFORE saying "yes" didn't they??

Well ****. I called Dave Lindy to find out what happened to my flycutting tools. They were never delivered but were shipped. He is looking into it now with the USPS.

Pfft!!!

Gotta love the postal service! I'm really interested to see how well the flycutting goes. Please document and take pics of all you can. This may be a move I make in the near future...

Geez... Why jump all over the guy? He's right, it's a good time to clean up the engine bay.

No. Lindy is on drugs. I'm trying to figure out where the tools are. As far as I can tell, he sent them to California to some guy whose name isn't close to mine.
