Don't forget to run a bellmouth intake, ditch the FTP 98mm lid it is only equivalent to a 84mm opening...it will get you around 8-10rwhp and I think I have one laying around...you just need to get the rest of the tubing to run in the front bumper...

that old setup looked nice, I didnt know about the times it ran. race weight is 3300?
those older et have a tall ssr and can like the 5X int seat, then a afr/243 height. That changes low lift curtain areas alot, so the valve off the seat points can move with that, over a normal setup. Did you see were the mcsa was on the cnc port, some guys like it there, some move it.

Ed will do what you want, no need for him to tell you about others, your not going to do anything with that, he already knows for you. So what he dose for you, and it will. He dose alot of class stuff you know, not somone to drive around with 440 H/C SBE and think there special like on here.

yeah i know thats why i dont knock him. And the old setup was great jon. the times sucked due to poor driving. and i did a ton of home to fig out the cuts on the valves. as for the mcsa i need to look into that.

I was at 11.9:1 and i had .110 cuts, 0.040 gaskets, 57.5cc heads...

i think you calc is off some, also the .110 cuts when i cced are like 1.1-1.2cc so rob being cut a hair deeper is probably 1.3-1.4...

for ls1 going off memory 1cc is around .15 CR, and going from a .040 to .51-.53 is around .35-.40...ballparking but will be close since i am not on the calc right now

If your cuts are only that cc then i must be .9cc or 1cc..i used the kb piston site an desktop dyno to check...i didnt do it out by hand was being lazy lol an i did just add the cc's for the cut to the head cc's..

But if i do my cut cc as just 1cc with my 56cc heads so i put in 57cc for info,gm 51 gasket which the bore on them is 3.92,stock 3.89 bore, piston out hole .006 i come up with 11.703-1 now an a .040 gasket is 12.069-1 comp..not sure if i am wrong but i got 2 programs telling me basically the same..also im not trying to be a dick so i hope yall aint taking it that way more or less just trying to make sure what my comp is.

It's cool man we don't think your being a dick. Just helping you understand. I want to try my cam I have for my old setup and this one and see how and where it picks up in real life not just on paper.

^^if anything run the old cam and it will tell you what the heads and valves are worth...but to take full advantage like to see a solid roller, alum intake, and donkey dick on 110 or less
