Thompson, tsp, pretty much any vendor, with the exception of slp. And i say that not because theres anything at all wrong with them, but they are just to god damn expensive.

Good bearings, fully forged internals, arp bolts, good rings for sure.

I just did a 408 lq9 motor and it was $9100 for the rotating assembly and heads... Built for 1500 hp and 9.5:1 comp with crank rods pistons and hardened caps... Motor is studded and the heads are a full p n p with stainless intake valves and inkenel exhaust valves with. 650 springs... Motor is sick and cant wait to finish everything... Hoping to be around 1250 hp on a 94 mm t6ercision turbo at about 20-25 psi

You could probably build a 370ci and do the same thing and it would less money.

If I was doing my build again, I'd go with TSP or LME's block.

If I were in your shoes, I'd pick up a 408 LQ9 short block from Texas Speed. As for which options, I'd probably get the Wiseco or Diamond -15 dish 4.030" pistons, steel top ring, Lunati or Callies Compstar H beam rods with ARP 2000 bolts (I beam if you plan on more than 800 hp), Lunati or Callies Compstar crank, and ARP main studs. I like the Callies rods and crank, but Lunati would be fine for up to 800 hp and would save you a few bucks.
