Exclamation Engine Mods

I want to get LS6 heads, Torquer V2 112 LSA Cam package, LS6 intake, TSP 1 7/8 Headers, TSP ORY-Pipe with my Flowmaster exhaust, SLP Oil pump and timing chain, and a tune. Will this be a good setup and can I do it it for under 3k? Any technical specs will be greatly appreciated. This wont be a track car and it's my daily driver. I just want a little more Horse Power, Torque, and sound. I want to order parts and begin work asap too.

You cant do all that for under 3k unless it all very used. Dont forget gasket set, new head bolts. For just the cam and heads package is around 2k by itself.

I was really happy with my car cam only, it made 405 rwhp with a streetsweeper cam.

I originally only wanted to do a cam, intake, headers, and exhaust but I had alot of people saying I should do this and that... lol I only want between 400-500hp, not really picky.

Good numbers

Op
That setup will cost you around 6000 if you do it right with all supporting mods and tune.

With all the parts minus the heads (which I dont really need but want), Im up to around $2500 in parts not including the tune or the cost to get it worked on.

I believe my cam swap came to 2300 installed / tuned / parts. When I do the heads I need lifters, injectors, bolts, gaskets and another tune so there about 3300 right there.

I will probably just not get the heads right now, Im sure I will do them and much more later down the road when I get more money and time. I can deal with it being under $3,000 right now. I was told I could get around 430rwhp from the cam, intake, and full exhaust mods so that works for me. I will probably do the timing chain and oil pump while im already there just to save time and not have to worry about it later down the road.

I wouldn't worry about the numbers. Dynos vary so much. Tv2 cam only should be around 380. Def get ported oil pump and timing chain. They are cheap and worth the insurance.

Thanks For the input, I think I will stick to my original plan of the cam and intake swap and not get the heads just yet.

I could get all of that new as long as I got used heads for under 3k, then the tune and shop costs. Anyone know of a reputable place around Maryland that does this kind of work im looking for?

I'd finish your ls6, longtube/ory first. Then worry about your cam. You'd possibly get rid of egr/air...you really need new motor mounts while installing headers. Flowmaster is the worst flowing catback on the market..I'd deal with those issues first..Unless your doing it all at once.
