If you changing the oil pump, dont pinch the O-ring when installing..

If the cam retainer plate gasket is flat and flush with the plate then replace it to get a good seal

check pushrod length, dont just go by what "other" people have done on similar combos..

those are some main ones I like to pay carefual attention to
