Default Dyno results a little disapointing

2002 z28 with:
SLP lid
CAI
Texas speed cat back
Texas speed headers (1 7/8)
Texas speed Y-pipe (no cats)

I was expecting to make a little more power.

HP: 327
TQ: 350

Does this seem average? This is after the dyno tune.

What dyno? Correction factor? and shouldn't take dyno #'s so serious. They vary from dyno to dyno.

SLP Lid and CAI? What?

Anyway, I would think on a DynoJet SAE, you'd be in the 335/355 range, so you aren't far off.

Looks great to me.

I call bullshit/ happy dyno on people with your mods claiming 350-360rwhp.

What this tells me is that:

Cold air intake lid, and cat back do not add 20-30 RWH, they add like 10, maybe.

The headers + tune = 7 HP.

Seems right on to me, especially through an auto.

When I was running headers and a lid I think I put down 334 on a mustang dyno through a T-56...

This!

And especialy now that we know its an auto...those #s are right on.

Doesnt matter anyway because its just a dyno. You have to take it to the track OP.

Makes sense, since as I can see more power doesn't = faster.

I have:

Strano Custom Springs
Strano Sway Bars 35/22
UMI panhard
Koni 4/4s

So hopefully the suspension would help it. Just need street legal slicks...

Oh and a CAM.

Not really dude. The extra power is not everything. Your an auto so with a higher stall torque converter you can drop 1/4 mile time .5+
When my car was bolt on only with a ss3600 stall it dropped .6 and gained 2mph. Not bad for a mod that does not show any rwhp gain. If anything it will dyno lower lol

Do all your boltons. Stall. Heads, cam and intake. If thats the route you plan to take. Thats the way I did mine.

Oh and BTW with an auto your going to need a stall to be able to use a cam or the car will drive like a$$.

Your numbers are right on for an automatic with those mods. Stock it probably would have done about 300rwhp on an honest dyno like that.

They're just numbers. They mean very little.

You do realize that is 327 WHP, right? After a 15% drivetrain loss this car is making 380-390HP to the crank.
