Yea the 102 should make another 5whp or so, but on a 346 is it can be a bit harder to tune. Not saying this will happen but a few have ran into low speed surging with the 102 and even with a 92 the throttle is very touchy...your toe so much wiggles on the pedal and the rpm's fluctuate. Much different driving characteristics then a LS6 intake for sure.

I'll start with the Vengeance ported FAST 102. If a template can be made, I can finish off port matching it to the heads.
The best run we got was 448 rwhp corrected. I got a printout of the graph, but left it at home. I'll get it posted up here soon.

I finally feel really good about the car. I spent a lot of money on the heads, and I knew all along they were bad *** heads that can hang with any of the other top brand heads. I was the Guiney pig regarding these heads. As far as I know, I'm still the only person on this site that's running them. These heads, from a flow-bench/number standpoint, are very much like the AFR heads. Both these heads and the AFR's have extremely strong exhaust ports/flow. The cam was holding the setup back. I realized that when I went from 1 3/4" headers to 1 7/8" headers. I picked up a lot of low and mid range torque, but as the power band climbed, the curve moved farther to the right and the setup peaked at 5,800 rpm's and nosed off hard after that. When I reached out to Cam Motion, they pointed out as well that the valve events of the old cam were the cause, and they spec'd me out this new cam. Yes, the new cam is bigger, but not a lot bigger. The cool thing is I picked up power everywhere. I'm very happy. Now it's time for a FAST 102mm intake. I'm hoping to crack 470 rwhp. A few people I've talked to think it will make 470.

No, it's not. When Kent was tuning the car, I know he was launching it like a pro on the streets, and the 10 bolt never skipped a beat and isn't making any noise. I beat on it pretty hard Sunday and it did great. I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

Well, I picked up a ported FAST 90mm intake. The runners have been ported, but I'm going to open up the inlet to 92mm. The only difference between a FAST 90mm and FAST 92mm is the inlet size, so I can fix that really easily. I went ahead and painted it while I was at it. Still need to pick up a black paint pen to outline the lettering. Once my FTP 98mm clear lid arrives, I'll be all set to swap everything out and get the car back on the dyno to see if we can break 470 rwhp.

I was trying to find it in one of your other threads, but are you still running that same cam? Can't remember the durations, but I do remember it was a 110LSA+3

Back a few years ago, Cam Motion picked a bunch of the names I came up with for their cams, so they told me I could get half off any cam, so I took them up on that offer. With the new cam, I made 447 rwhp and 431 rwtq. This cam was custom spec'd to my heads. The stock LS6 intake and unported TB is holding it back, so I'm excited to see how well it does with the addition of the FAST intake.

It will definitely rev better with your new intake. Assuming you extend the power peak out to 6500 rpm, I think 465-470 is very realistic. I know you got the 90, not the 102, but be prepared for a bit of fun with your idle tuning. Overall, a minor consideration vs the gains. You should also notice that it carries past the HP peak much better as well.

I just calculated the valve events on that cam, and that's a great cam spec. Looks somewhat Martin-ish. I'm guessing a 1 or 2 degree advance as well (?).

That should peak right at 6300-6400 on a FAST 90. I still think moving that power peak out and improved high RPM cylinder fill should get you to 465. How does that mustang dyno compare to a dynojet? Sometimes mustang dynos are all over the place. The 437 torque suggests it's going to read pretty close.
I believe my car holds the record for highest HP/TQ heads/cam car that's been on his dyno. A guy running a 6.0 LS with a bigger cam and ported heads put down quite a bit less than my 5.7 did. I'd say his Mustang dyno does read pretty close to what a DynoJet would.

Started porting the inlet of my FAST 90mm. I still have quite a bit more to go, but I'm worried I may remove too much material and have issues with the gasket/seal. Does anyone have a picture of the finished product after you ported your FAST 90mm inlet?
On a side note, the WARR Performance 92mm TB will arrive this week. Still not sure when the FTP clear 98mm lid will ship. There are supposed to go out around the second week of January.
