!!HELP!! I Dont Get it??
WTF is going on??? Has anyone went through this??? And Can a Tune Really Fix all This?? Cause that's what I been hearing Get a Tune! Get a Tune! But for some reason I can't totally believe a Tune can fix The Whole issue? But I will Add I'm running Really Rich!!!
when i dynoed my car "mostly stock" it did 325rwhp/342rwtq with only an slp lid, smooth bellows and k&n filter. same day my buddy 02 camaro ss m6 with slp lid, dynatech longtubes, gmmg exhaust diablo tune did 333rwhp.

Seriously::: You have a great start there. All the first items you note, the cleaning and better quality items WILL make your car run better and longer, yet with no kick in the pants feel. but all are REALLY important to start with.
Now you need to look at how you can use that better running and functioning engine. Wake up the sleeping beast.
You now have an engine that CAN breath better, both intake and exhaust, plugs that will burn dependable and an intake that has the ABILITY to flow better and more air. Yet you seem to still have the computer telling the engine none of this has happened. It will be feeding it minimal gas and air, keeping all potential mileage and original settings.
So yes, you do need a serious tune, but realize NO TUNE would have helped if you had not done these things. So with a tune you probably will feel a difference. BE REALLY CLEAR with your tuner what your desires are. If you ask for an all out speed tune, you will have limited drive-ability, starting and over heating problems and no mileage...If you just want to spin the tires, you can get a great deal of torque programmed in but you have to set the RPM for this to happen and I suspect it will chop off your top end speed. But that torque is what will give you the flash and kick in the pants feel you are looking for. Just don't go racing! (Note that torque is what puts the most stress on all your car parts. Torque (and the associated lead foot) is usually the culprit behind broken engines, transmissions rear ends and axles.)
And still, even all this will just help out SOME, not a whole lot. As stated here, it will take cams, throttle bodies and injectors and more such to ever get out of the 13s even 12s into the 11s or better.
For this, you usually have to step up to some larger single expenditures. You have been putting small amounts in over time, you would now need to take that time to save up all those dollars and have $2000 to drop at a single time (cam swap with the other items needed with it). The larger hp changes have a lot of associated changes that have to go with them.
ALL the guys on here will happily help steer ya when you are ready for those steps.

oil change, coolant flush etc are maintenance items and aren't going to do anything. You added weight with a trans cooler. You added maybe about 40 whp. Gains are all exaggerated by manufacturers and you can't take the highest claims from a bunch of individual parts and add them up. Parts complement each other. Without a tune all this extra air movement you've produced doesn't really do much but make better sound.
Get a tune!
