If you're running nitrous, then you need larger ring gaps.
Here is the link you need for Mahle pistons, see page 17. The 2nd ring gap needs to be larger than the first.

Also, I see that Manley specifies a larger top ring gap (vs 2nd ring). That is contrary to every other source I have seen for piston rings. This may be one of the sources that is continuing to fuel the uncertainty in the engine building world...
