Default Advice for cam. 5.3 Stock with LS6 intake 400 only req'd

Can anybody please give me any advice on a cam replacement for a 5.3 L33 stock but with an LS6 intake and injectors plus a ported LS6 TB.

The maximum I want to achieve is around 400lbs/ft of torque and a max of 6500rpm.

Car is 2wd and circa 750Kg.

I have been reading the various sections on cam choices but I hope that maybe somebody can either offer any advice if they have the same setup or have experience enough to help me cut through all the choices and find some more specific options.

Thanks in advance.

It seems to me from reading numerous posts that a a 224/224 112 may well be a good option for a stock engine.

I wanted to make good power without spinning the stock bottem end to the moon. And I wanted it to sound good.

With the 110lsa it makes power a little quicker. And in my opinion it sounds badass.

Alot of 5.3s on the truck forums are running the tr224 or the 228r making good power.

Mine is tore apart right now swapping the cam out for something a little more nitrous friendly.

Thanks again for the info.

I presume you swapped springs as well, if so what did you use?
