What is the most cost effective/smartest way to make 700+rwhp w/o FI or NOS?

Have you ever driven a 1000 hp car? Let alone 700?
Lol your getting way ahead of yourself... But it's cool we all do at some point..
If your just street driving then keep it at 500, 600+ won't hook worth a **** on the street..
But when you decide to go FI you'll want an engine built specifically for that...
The more I build my car the more I think I won't end up street driving it much lol
Good luck

There is no such thing as cost effective on a reliable boosted 1000rwhp setup.
Contact Nelson Racing Engines if you're serious. Most likely would be twin turbo.

I feel everyone is getting stuck on the "cost effective" and "cheap" part. By cost effective, i mean being able to reach the goal in a way that doesn't cost "more than it is supposed to". Like i explained in my first post...if there are two ways to reach the goal (a solid 700rwhp N/A engine), one of them costs let's say $20,000 and the other costs $30,000...then the $20,000 way is what i mean by "cost effective". As long as i've taken the smartest route to reach the goal and i couldnt have reached it in a more cheaper way, it doesn't matter how much it costs...Get the point?.
This is my first LS1. And i've bought it just so i can mod it. I've never done any mods before so i'm here to gain some knowledge. And thanks to you guys i've learned a lot in just 2 days!
700rwhp N/A GTO is my goal! I'm here to learn how i can achieve it. Right now i have no clue if it is practical for me or not...once i gain the knowledge, i will decide.

a friend of mine built a ls2 based erl454 that makes just shy of 700 and daily drives it weather permitting. I think he sunk upwards of 25k on the motor and fuel system... it can be done and its a lot of fun but if you wanna play you are gunna pay...

Forget a production 454 block, about 750 N/A is maxed out for them even stroked, they're not made to take the revs like aftermarket blocks with splayed mains.
Aftermarket block, rotating assembly and heads.
$12K - $15K with all top shelf parts including CNC'd heads. Block is good to 2000hp, cranks and rods are fine to about 1500. If you can't hit 750hp with pump gas hydraulic roller N/A, go back to the drawing board, they're done every day.
But I'd stroke a 6.0L block and add a hairdryer, simpler and better traction with boost turned down. The big block is going to be a handful from off-idle to 7K.

Nope, gas is about $1.68 in UAE (on average) 98 octane (= to 94 in US); but yeah somewhere in the Gulf area. Oman is cheaper, I cross border by Al Ain area and fill up when I'm there (took a wrong turn one time and suddenly , I'm in Oman) .
