Default People with absolute 5.3 stg 2 heads and using stock lifters ??????

When putting your car back together did you have to shim the rockers or not ?

i didnt have to shim my lifters on those heads

what kind of head gaskets did you use ? mine are fel pro i heard they are thinner .... also how did you check ?

i didn't have to shim mine either but i also used GM head gaskets, and about a year later no problem (knocking on wood)

I didn't get any shims with my heads, and I didn't need any....I think.

I still havn't cranked her. UPS lost my intake and tb, but Jay sent another batch and should get tomorrow.
