CircleD can set you up with a 3400 stall that would be pretty good. SS3600 is a good streetable stall too.

I would recommend a good ~ 3500 stall. Anything below that and you're not really getting much out of it.

Do a 3600. My ss3600 is very street friendly.

My car was my DD for a while and I have an ss3600 as well, and with as large of a converter it is, its not as loose as you would think. Easy to drive and doesn't take much to get moving. Anywhere from 32-3600 in a DD would be perfect. If you go too low youll regret it and if you go too high it might be too loose. Remember to get a good transmission cooler as well, as high stall converters cause more heat.

Another vote for ss3600 yank, good street manners and good launch at the track, better efficiency than VIG I've owned.

SS3200 here. I love it. My wife doesn't even mind it. Although the gearing in the G8 is a lot different.

Haven't seen FTI mentioned here yet, so I'll throw them in to this conversation as another option.

PTC for the win! Don't believe me? Research.... Best converter, best customer service ( my man Tim) and best price. Mine, 4400+ for nitrous that I don't have yet cause my son is an idiot ( takes after his mother) and I drive it every day with no regrets. I've had several converters from several companies and PTC is hands down the only place ill buy, and many others will say the same thing. Go to your local track and ask the fast cars what they use. On average PTC will be the answer.
