Default What could cause No Oil Pressure

I got a 03 6.0 in a project ive been working on for a while. Bought the motor that was suppose to be good with only 50,000 miles on it. I finally got it running Friday. Fired it up. No oil pressure at all. I have a mechanical oil pressure gauge. I took the fitting out behind the intake to make sure it wasnt the gauge. Not even a drop came out while it was running. So I thought oil pump. Put in a brand new Melling pump today. Poured oil down the oil pressure sensor hole to maybe help prime it. Nothing. Didnt even squirt the oil that I pored in it out. So what do yall think. Spun bearing? Didnt sound like it while it was running. Ive run it probably a total of 45 seconds to see if it would build pressure. Anything else I can do before I give up and pull the motor?

Was the oil "bar bell" installed in the rear of the engine behind the rear cover?

Is this something that should have been replaced? Would this cause the motor to not have pressure if it was faulty? Or would it pump the oil into the cover?

Old or pinched oil pick-up tube o-ring is the most common thing.

The barbell tends to go missing on blocks that have had machine work done, as it must be removed for machining.
