Awesome.
I clearly have the wrong bits, and electric isn't as good as air for power.
I sepnt an hour doing just that per port......

Your first vid is blocked........

This is very very cool, thank you!

I think I'm the only one watching xRaTeD TV here.
I did just what you are doing, but once again in 4x the time. Maybe 5x.... my burs are less agressive and probably dull to boot.

Here is one intake in process.......

How were the Monterey races?

Looks good maybe could go a little rougher on the port walls..

Races where good managed to keep everything in one piece we took 1 956 1 935 1 934 4 rsr's I four am abarth but I'd say 65 percent of all the porsche in the paddock have one of our engines.

I only use cross buffs in the exhaust and 40-60 grit on intake.

I didn't want to muddy up the for sale thread for these heads so I'll ask my questions here. Can anyone tell me the difference between these heads that were hand ported to 228cc and the AI 226cc CNC ported heads? Is the performance gains going to be close between the 2 port jobs? The reason I ask is because I was getting ready to send the 243 heads I have off to AI to get their 226cc port services. If performance will be close I could save some time and money and just buy these.

Cnc heads have hundreds of hours of development that can be repeated at the push of a button. My heads are not so developed and not much data to create I'd say the first heads used to develop a cnc program could cost upwards of 100000 dollars at the end of testing and all labor need to get them to there max potential..

A little update I played with the exhaust port and sent these to get some flow data. I also made a video of some ported 243 bolted Tia stock single plane.

So heads were on the bench this morning I was pretty happy with the result as was the guy running the bench.. We agreed there is some more flow In The heads after a valve job and some nicer profiled valves also with Some chamber work this would all increase flow at low lift. these heads were 224 cc's and 84 on the exhaust and flowed on a 4 Inch bore port velocity's were very good.. Excuse the pic the heads were dirty the got stained in the ultra sonic cleaner someone put krytox grease in it so the only port I cleaned was the one that was flowed.. We did take a junk exhaust valve and put a small back cut and it hit 303 cfm but we scratched that number since we are only using stock valves.

Did the int really drop like that .600 to .650 What do you think about that? I didn't watch all the vids, you have the stock VJ still I take it, and bring the port to that still. whats the throat size? whats the plan of the VJ, what machine do you have

the ext port went 303??

I see you got the gasket size matched but how big is the head CSA at the pushrod pinch? have you measured up that intake eet. that SV EFI LS1 has a big CSA,. I dont have my notes here but its cast wide on the exit, I think was was over 1.1 even.
