I think TEA hand finished his heads for free after he sent em back 6 times with bent valves cause he couldnt get the cam in right. They felt bad for the guy

The top of the line 320-330+cfm heads will flow about 275-280 cfm with the LS6 intake in place. These cars can use 275-280cfm spinning to 6,800 rpm.
Most heads that flow ~290 to 300 cfm will only flow ~240 to 255 cfm with the LS6 intake in place.
BTW - I agree the PP chamber for their LS6 style head looks good with it's figure eight double quench style.
This why we really don't have "too much" cylinder head for our current combo's the intake knockes the flow down a good bit even with the best of the current Gen III heads.
As for Patriot quailty do a search there was PP feel good thread that showed ~12 out of ~23 PP customers that posted had had some sort of PP issue. That thread is several months old and may not reflect the current PP quailty. I imagine PP has improved out of necessity over the last few months based on what prior customers were posting in the past.
As with any cylinder head get what ever head you buy get it checked by a quailty shop to make sure no details are missed and the heads flow as advertised. Check stuff BEFORE it goes into the car for best results regardless of the source for the parts.

However, I did have one of the earlier sets of the LS1 Stage 2 heads (and the bad valves, springs, etc) and through this board, it appears that most, if not all the problems, have been resolved and additional problems with them have been significantly reduced and people are getting what is extected from Patriot.

Besides big flow #'s i found that heads also need to be ported in the right places to produce the Hp #'s desired.
Below, see flow charts from a stock LS6 head and a stock 6.0 head. The LS6 outflows the 6.0 by a signifigant margain. This is, IMO, why PP LS6 heads flow 20-40CFM less than real S2 LS6 heads. PP could probably do the same with a set of real LS6 cores, but then their heads would cost the same as everybody elses, and they couldn't sell people who don't know any better a 6.0 head and call it an LS6 head.
