For the last time, the heads Todd boyght was a factory seat and chamber. There was no welding done to the heads he purchased.
I was at th N/S event,the TSP car ran a 10.20.

They qualified second at a 10.43.In the first round in eliminations, the car performed a huge wheel stand for about 100 feet( drug the bumper ).
Later in the day,in between rounds the car went 10.20.I am sure the car will go faster when the suspention gets dialed in.

It took an hour and a half just to get the valve covers back on and attach all the coil packs etc.
Bottom line is, I got a set of heads with F/U valve springs and shoddy seals. The issue was somewhat rectified by the vendor sending me the parts leaving me to fix it myself. Now I have a head in need of repair (due in no part to anything I did), and now I have to (at my expense) remove them, pay for shipping, and a new gasket/bolt set and take the time to remove and reinstall everything.
Yeah, I'm not too happy about it, but there is not much I can do. That is why I will look to another vendor for heads.

I had an oil consumption issue with the teflon seals but Terry sent a set of the viton seals and all is good now.
I was a little bummed I had to spend 2 afternoons (after work) changing them tho. I guess some guys can do it quicker but this was my first time. The Larry tool was pretty useless (threaded bolt was about an inch too short) with the dual springs until I went and bought some 8mm threaded rod, then it worked like a champ.

I can't believe a customer would buy a set of heads, have a problem, and never contact the manufacturer. We have never had a seat (that we install) come out of a cylinder head.

I've sent emails to Patriot and to Texas Speed with no reply. My car is burning oil...I need some new seals. The performance of these heads is unbelieveable! But its drinking oil. Please contact me.....ctnorth02@hotmail.com
