need info on lq9/4 swap
So my car is a stock 2000z28 a4 about to turn over 205k miles.midway through next year I want to swap a Lq9/4 into my car. I want to also swap to a 4l80E transmission. My questions are these
1. What year engines should I look for/ vehicle?
2. What year transmission/ vehicle?
3. What all do I need to make the engine and transmission swap work correctly and as easy as possible from start to finish? I hear talk of the oil pan, alternator bolt holes, 24/58x rec, drive shaft length, all these things but can't seem to find it all in one place from start to finish.
4. Any links, pics, videos, advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for any input

Price to make the 4l80e work makes me question if I should rebuild my 60 or order a built one instead. Will keeping a 60 work with a lq9/4 without modification?
Also the car is my daily driver and only vehicle so if I had everything needed would my mechanic be able to swap everything out in 1-2 days

No modification needed to run your 4l60 behind a lq4/lq9 as long as its not a steel headed lq4 from factory.
Just reuse your flexplate, converter, etc. that's off the 60 it will all bolt right up to the lq.

As far as rebuilding my 60, what should I upgrade with the transmission to handle the power I aslo want to put a medium-sized stall in it. Is there a kit sold with everything I would need?
