Default Truck intake is ugly. Any fixes?

Hey. I got a 5.3 truck engine and I hear the intake is good for 750HP. Only problem is it is super ugly. The stock cover doesn't help much. Any alternatives??

If you are asking for different manifolds, I believe FAST makes a truck variant of the LSX 102.

Truck intake is better than LS6.

The truck FAST is better than any of the car FASTs.

Do a search for "smoothed intakes"

If done right, they look cooler than LS1/6 intake.

Yes I'm looking to keep a truck style intake but make it less ugly somehow. Also I can't afford anything from Fast right now. Lol

Here's some relevant questions that'll help us give you a more accurate answer:

Is this a truck engine using truck accessory drives on the front of the engine?

OR:

Is this a car engine using car accessory drives on the front of the engine?

AND:

What vehicle is this engine going into?

Your answers will determine which intake you need.

I have a truck engine with truck accessories going in an 89 T/A with a ram air hood. Should clear easy.
I think I might just paint up the engine cover and get some coil covers...
Easy breezy beautiful.

OK. I would suggest you check out the conversions section and post questions about this over there.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-hybrids-28/

And make yourself a signature that states what car you have.
