Default Heads with Streetsweeper HT

So I put the SSHT in my car a couple of months ago and am already thinking about doing heads. My idea is to either keep the ls6 intake and go with prc 5.3 stg 2.5 heads OR wait a while and go with a fast 92/badass heads (trick flow, afr, tea 243's, etc.) Any suggestions or opinions on how any of these combos would be with my cam feel free to fire away. My goal is a good performing/usable power setup for the street since my car is rarely going to see the track. Full mod list in sig.

Ed Curtis ports 243s. I'd talk to him about those for your combo. He can set the valvetrain up precisely for that cam.

I had no idea he did 243s. Im sure that combo would be pretty much perfect as far as a well thought out valve train setup.

Yup. Since you already have his cam, I'd go ahead and let him do the rest for you.

Go with AI's HCR 241s so I can see what the combo puts down!

WWED?

Just email him and ask his recommendation. He always gets back to me same day. I can tell you right now that TFS will not be on that list...

I looked up their prices and that seems like it would be a great budget combo since its not hard to get a set of spare 241's for cheap.

Whigham, why do you think TFS would not be recommended?

It's not MY opinion by any means, lol. Ed isn't fond of them at all. Just his opinion.

If you contact him he can set you down the right path though, and eliminate the guessing game. He knows what head that cam likes...
