Default Annoying tick noise once warm..help!

So I have a 2000 z28 with long tube headers, yank ss3600 stall, 3.42 gears and tsp true duals. The car runs great and beats a lot of cars around where I live. The only problem is I have this annoying tick that starts but only once it gets up to temp around 200 degrees. At first I thought it was an exhaust leak because I could see some carbon build up where the exhaust clamps onto the headers so I took it apart and put copper sealant on all the joints where the exhaust slips on. Well that wasn't it. The other day I figured it could probably be in the valve train so I checked the rockers and see if anything was loose and everything was tight. Either way I took all rockers off and push rods and check for any bent rods and they were good so put it back together and torqued everything down. I've searched and searched on here what else it could be and only thing I can think of is it being a lifter. I've never found anything about a lifter ticking once the car gets warm. If anyone has had this similar problem please chime in. I would appreciate the help.

My lifter tick didn't occur until my car was up to operating temps. Not saying that's what your problem is, but don't rule it out just yet.

Oil pump. I have fixed three in the last 6 months. I always use the LS4/LSA pump, they work well.

So I guess best bet is just to replace lifters and oil pump since I'll be in there. I was going to spray a 100 shot but I'll just hold onto it until I replace the pump and lifters. I really hope that's what the tick is.

change the oil pump and the lifters. The parts are inexpensive enough to change them both to eliminate a problem with either.

So I have one more question. What all am I going to need to order when I change out the parts? I know to get ls7 lifters, tray, oil pump but do I have to get new head bolts? Where is the best place to order everything from?

Balancer install tool, head gaskets, and you might consider timing chain and rocker trunions while you have everything apart.
