Default Congrats Tyler!

What strong numbers 450 HP. 433 TQ. The car was tuned on Zippy Performance dyno. The Heads were not flow tested as I only charged $300.00. I have been porting heads in Las Vegas for 25yrs. and have flow tested my work in the past. 296 cfm at .650 lift. I wonder what it would do with a Fast intake, Underdrive pulley and electric water pump?

I bet it would do close to 470. Good to see all these small cams making great power.

Really nice build, almost exactly what I am looking for. That dyno sheet looks great, power from bottom to top.

Those are impressive numbers to say the least, but that must be one happy dyno. Was this a dynojet or mustang dyno?

The top 10 list on Zippy's Dyno have all backed up there numbers with track times. Highest is 1250 HP that ran 7.80 173mph. I did expect someone to call out the dyno used. Tyler will post his MPH.

Im sure the car would run fine at the track but to me almost 450hp out of a mild cam and ported 241s seems a little off. I would expect these numbers with a setup with a bigger cam and better heads.

Those are nice numbers. I'm not calling anyone a liar, but the results are out of the ordinary a bit. Track times are more important so when he runs the car that'll be a better bench mark. Throw so Mt's on there and see what she's got!

Are you going to have the heads flowed? Id be interested in finding out what kind of numbers they made with the bigger valves. They look great btw!

Default Head Flow

I have flow tested, The worst case was 286cfm @ .650 and best was 296 cfm. Again for $300.00. You can get 300+ cfm out of factory castings with more time and money. The question is how much runner volume and flow do you need for a 346" 11.2 comp. street engine. AFR 205 head and a 224 228 114 cam is the best street combination I have seen at 485rwhp If I remember correct.

The keyword in this quote is the reason for the inflated dyno numbers......SAE correction factor should bring it down to the 415-420whp/395-400wtq area.

Nice set-up though, I'm sure it is well mannered and has plenty of torque.

I did..first time in about a year so there's a little room for improvement. Left one was the first pass and the right was the 2nd. On the second pass my foot cramped up really bad so I smashed the pedal and spun. The track is never prepped and it's over 2k alt so that doesn't help but whatever

I don't think there's too much anyone can say at this point. You did the research, chose the products, installed them and then put them to the test. No matter if the results are enough to please everyone, I say job well done.
Once you get more comfortable with the car in that setting, the times will come down some, especially that reaction time. You could measure that with a calendar! J/K Great job and a great thread to follow.

+1

OP has some work to do on his ET's with those 60' times but 114mph in an f-body at 3500'+DA is pretty fast. Its right at 119-120mph at sea level. I'd say the car is running good for such a mild set-up.
