Default TEA 243s SNS Torquemax 2 or 3?????????

Deciding on cam before sending my heads to TEA for there stage 2 CNC program and milling. 2000 WS6 6 Speed, came across some cheap 243s that haven't been touched. Stock bottom end 5.7.

Intake: Ported Fast 90 + 90 NW (already purchased)
Heads: 243s TEA stage 2s (currently not milled) about to send them off.
Injectors: 42s or 44s picked them up used from a friend.
Headers: 1 3/4 pacesetters (already on car)
Exhaust: 2.5" True Duals with X pipe, single chambers (might install a cutout)
Valve springs: Already purchased Brian Tooley dual springs with titanium retainers good up to .660 lift (have around 500 miles, tested and check out...from a buddy.)

STOCK ROD BOLTS CAR has 105,000 miles. Would be nice to see 450 on the dyno if possible with my parts list. Not really looking to flycut pistons.

Car is street car that will see the track a few times a year. Not a DD. If you have any other cam suggestions I should look into please let me know.

NOTE I GOT THE LSA WRONG ON THE STAGE 3 BUT CAN'T EDIT POLE ITS: LSA111+2

Yea I plan on getting in touch with him this week, just wanted to see others options also. That heads/cam combo lays down really good numbers from what I have seen so I don't feel the need for a custom grind.

If you mill those heads, your going to need to fly cut with the stage 3.

I love my SNS Stage 2, but wish I would have gone with the SNS Stage 3.

That is going to be a sweet street setup no matter what cam you go with. Are you still running the stock gears?

OP, whichever cam you decide to go with, make sure you mill the heads accordingly to achieve a higher compression. Remember, more compression equals more HP and TQ, especially in the lower RPM range.

Also, the 2.5" true duals will hold you back some over 3" duals, but if you install a cutout, then you'll be fine.

+1. Pick your cam before you mill the heads.

My heads are milled quite a bit and according to Martin, with the piston to valve clearance I have with the Stage 2, the Stage 2 will clear. My heads are however aftermarket castings and allow more piston to valve clearance than factory castings, but I bet his heads could be milled some and still be ok. Hell, people run donkey dick cams like the TRex and others that are much bigger on stock heads.

Pacesetter long tubes, hi flow cats, 3'' y pipe to a flowmaster 3.5'' merge to a 3'' dynomax bullet. And a electric cutout which was open for the video.

Pull yours out and sell it to me

Yea i agree with you about the 2.5" losing a few HP... I will get a cutout in the future. I never really plan on changing the exhaust if I can help it. My dad and I custom built the true duals together, and I recently lost him all of a sudden.

Possibly thinking about the Stage 3 mild, but haven't really heard any clips of it. What were final numbers on your build?
