would pac 1218 springs be alright with this cam? I tried calling jegs, and the tech wouldn't say who was grinding the cam, said it was "proprietary" lobes or something from jegs lol

They will work fine. LOL @ proprietary. I guess splitting hairs is what keeps all the cam hype on fire. This is great for the cam companies.

I have been running this cam for about 3 years now. Drives like stock after I got it to a reputable tuner. Mods in YouTube description
Sumbitch! Is that open headers? Thanks for posting up. I didn't see any dyno numbers in the description. I am not overly worried about peak numbers. This motor and cam is real similar to the motor and cam it is standing in for. I just know others really bank on those peak numbers.

It's SLP headers, no cats, Open cutout w/SLP Dual/Dual.

It did 430/400 @ 6300? I have to find the old dyno sheet. It runs like a champ and sounds like a huge cam.

I should have the spare motor in tonight. I will update when possible. I dougt it will make the power stated above due to stock 241's. I just hope it runs well and sounds good when I get done tuning it.

Comp used to grind all of the JEGS' cams. I don't know if they still do or not. If I had to hazard a guess, they are still using cheaper cores to grind the JEGS cams. This doesn't mean its a bad cam, though. Even 15 years ago, everything was worse than today's 'cheap' cores.

It sounds big and pulls nicely. I probably won't dyno it but if I change my mind I will add results.

If you order that cam today, it won't ship until 6/7/14. I guess there's no shelf stock.

The ramp rate on those cam lobes (55*-56*) aren't aggressive and should be easy on the valvetrain and have good stability at high rpm.

Did they quote you an extended ship date when you ordered it?

Sounds great in the video and is at a good price also. Im curious what numbers it would put down. I like that the lift isn't some insanely high number...

yes, and I noticed that before I posted. I should've been a little more specific. I'd like to know how much it does in your car being that you have different heads and intake.

The 3 Jegs cams have the same exact specs as the trickflow cams. The trickflow cam cards are carbon copy of crane cam cards FWIW.

No one mentions how the valve train noise is with this cam, quiet or noisy?

Should be quiet with the recommended amount of lifter preload. With it's softer cam lobe ramp rates it should be quieter than cam's lobes that have aggressive ramp rates(XE-R, LSK).
