Big cam, no tune?
Ok guys I get my cam installed on Wednesday and I cant get it tuned until next week . I'm pretty sure I'll be ok riding around in it but what if I take it to the track? Will I be ok? Cam specs are 231/237 .598/.595 @112 on stock heads. I need advice guys, let me know if I am smoking crack or not.

for gods sake DON'T DRILL the TB, tuners will hate you for this...
There's a little screw to adjust the REST TB blade position, get under there and adjust that so the blade is default open more.
Trust me most tuners get pissy when you start drilling holes. "my tune is so good you dont need any hoes". blah blah blah.
lol

I have the same cam with no tuning and I drive it all the time. And I've made about 10 passes at the track with it, so, I say go for it. I did have to drill the throttle body ALOT to get an idle though. I'm sure you will be down on power and maybe on the rich side without tuning but you can't have a new cam and not get on it!
